22-24 November, 2019: Sose Women’s Issues NGO organized a three-day training course “Empowering Politics” for women and young people of the Syunik region. This on-going project aims toward a more equitable representation and influence of women and young people in the political arena. Participants with a deep interest were suggested by six political parties (three parties in Parliament, three parties outside of Parliament). The courses were facilitated by qualified trainers with considerable experience who utilized various instructional methods, including interactive activities, creative teamwork, active debates, and round-table discussions. At the conclusion of the three-day training course, the  President of Sose Women’s Issues NGO thanked attendees for their active participation and civil discourse, and awarded them with certificates of attendance. A sincere intention was also expressed for this training to serve as a significant contribution in strengthening the involvement of women and young people in their civic duty and the political process.
