A four-day training within the framework of the “Women Empowerment for Community Engagement” program has started for women and girls in Gegharkunik.
During these two days the participants got acquainted with the advocacy tools, the features of making campaigns, the methods of implementing strategies, the peculiarities of lobbying, besides they got tips of organizing political campaigns.
During the training, the participants strengthened their knowledge through interactive and role-playing activities. As for group work, important community issues were singled out, which will be solved in the coming months due to joint efforts.
Women from the Gegharkunik region learned how to write content for social media.
The group discussed communication models and the creation of “tone of voice” in social media. During the practical assignments, they wrote and visualized content for their own projects and social networks
And in the last day women and girls met with women candidates from 3 parties and two electoral blocs. This was a good opportunity for participants to receive inspiration and information from these candidates. This helped to motivate participants to be more active in their communities and involved in the decision making processes.
