Sose Women’s Issues NGO continues to implement the “Political School” project for the Youth and Women, this time in Ararat and Armavir regions. Sose’s team organized a two-day meeting in Vagharshapat city. Mayor’s adviser Mariam Poghosyan made a welcoming speech during the opening ceremony.
On the first day of the meeting, the students of the political school had the opportunity to listen to Ani Samsonyan, a member of the Bright Armenia Party, deputy of the NA of the 8th convocation of the Republic of Armenia. She gave a very interesting speech about the Political Development in Armenia, its challenges and impact, and emphasized the importance of women and youth’s involvement in the political processes of Armenia. After the lecture, there was a Q/A session, which turned into an exciting discussion.
During the second day, the Associate Professor Hovhannes Hovhannisyan of the Department of Theoretical Philosophy and Logic of YSU presented to the participants the importance of debates and the culture of rhetorical speech, communication culture, and eloquent tricks, as well as destructive tricks and neutralization skills in political debate.
An important notification
Political school is a neutral initiative, and it is aimed at creating such an environment for active youth where they will have an opportunity to listen to different social-political figures and famous public actors, who will share their experiences and help to carry out knowledgeable and informed activities and overall in our country.
