On October 22-23, another meeting was held within the framework of the “Political School” program.
On the first day, the guest speaker was Gayane Abrahamyan, the deputy of the 7th convocation of the National Assembly, founder, and president of the “For Equal Rights” Educational Center NGO. She presented to the participants the importance of the representation of women and youth in the political processes of Armenia. Furthermore, she discussed democracy, human rights, traditions, and national values.
On the second day, the participants had the chance to meet with Masis Melkonyan, a member of the governing board of the “Republic” party and the Constitutional Reforms Council. They discussed the political developments in Armenia: prospects, challenges, and impact on the public, the importance of the role of political parties. The participants also had the chance to receive information on the process of constitutional reforms launched in Armenia.
During the two-day meeting, the participants had productive discussions and received answers to many questions they were interested in.
