As part of the “Strengthening Women’s Political Skills and Public Influence” program, another meeting was held with members of the National Assembl
The meeting was attended by members of the National Assembly from the Civil Contract faction; Heriknaz Tigranyan, Hripsime Grigoryan, and Zaruhie Batoyan; as well as deputies from the “Armenia” alliance; Armenuhi Kyureghyan, Lilit Galstyan, and Irina Gasparyan. They presented their paths into politics and their motivations, and also spoke about the challenges they faced throughout their political and professional careers, the ways they overcame them, and their achievements. The deputies also emphasized the importance of women’s participation within their parties and the implementation of quotas. Both ruling and opposition members encouraged the women participating in the meeting to recognize and embrace their role in the development of our country.
Participants had the opportunity to ask questions of interest to them, hear the deputies’ perspectives, and receive direct feedback.
At the end of the meeting, the deputies delivered inspiring and motivational messages, emphasizing the importance of active participation by young people and women in social and political processes.
