We are pleased to inform you that “Sose Women’s Issues” NGO has launched a new project in cooperation with the organization “Kvinna till Kvinna.” Within the framework of the project, meetings have already been held in the Hatsavan and Uyts settlements of the Sisian community.
During these meetings, women and young people discussed topics related to family planning and positive parenting. Special attention was given to reproductive health, children’s sexual education, and the importance of fostering healthy and trusting communication within the family. Participants explored the specifics of communicating with children at different stages of development, the challenges faced by parents, and common misconceptions and stereotypes that often hinder a child’s healthy development and mutual understanding within the family.
The meetings provided a safe, welcoming, and trust-based environment where participants had the opportunity to share personal experiences and examples, reflect on their own approaches, and gain new knowledge and practical recommendations. Participants actively engaged in discussions, group activities, and the exchange of experiences, contributing to a deeper understanding of the topics and the development of new skills.
The meetings were conducted in an active, constructive, and positive atmosphere, highlighting the importance of such initiatives.
Additional meetings and discussions on these and related topics are planned throughout the project. These activities will provide participants with further opportunities to strengthen and expand their knowledge and skills.
