Sose NGO continues its series of meetings for women and young girls.
This time, we met with participants in the #Sisian community, where we discussed important topics related to family planning, reproductive health, positive parenting, and effective communication with children.
We talked about the importance of making informed decisions regarding family planning, as well as positive and supportive approaches to parenting. Particular attention was given to age-appropriate sexuality education for children and fostering open and trusting communication between parents and children.
We also discussed how to better understand children’s needs and emotions at different stages of development, build relationships based on mutual trust, and support children in developing independence and self-confidence.
The meetings also addressed various challenges faced by parents, stereotypes prevalent in society, and parenting approaches that may limit children’s freedom to develop and their ability to build healthy relationships.
The meetings took place in an active and informal atmosphere. Participants not only gained new information but also had the opportunity to raise questions, share their own experiences, and discuss everyday situations together.
Meetings in this format are important not only for gaining new knowledge but also for sharing experiences, providing mutual support, and fostering healthier, respectful, and trusting relationships within families.
